Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Power BI Analyst in lithia, FL. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
β’ Power BI Analyst will design, build, deploy, and maintain BI solutions (Power BI)
β’ Create, optimize, and maintain SQL queries for data extraction and reporting
β’ Use warehouse data to generate reports to support business decision-making and business performance monitoring
β’ Search for new sources of data from which to extract and analyze to aid the business to make informed business decisions
β’ Work with .NET Developer, Business Analyst and Project Management to design and document that solutions meet project requirements
β’ Code and Unit Test solution components
β’ Evaluate and improve existing BI services
β’ As a Power BI Analyst, you will assist in the development of test plans
β’ Build and prepare solutions for release to the Production environment
β’ Provide ongoing technical support for BI services including analyzing issues, defining and implementing initial fixes and/or workarounds, designing and implementing permanent solutions, and assisting with any data cleanup efforts
β’ Participate in Agile/Scrum software development practice
Requirements
β’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Systems preferred
β’ Experienced in data warehouse design
β’ Highly proficient with Reporting and BI tools, such as Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services, Tableau, etc.
β’ Proficient with writing SQL queries and report design
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
β’ Excellent interpersonal skills
β’ Experienced with ETL tools, such as SQL Server Integration Services a plus
β’ Experience with Microsoft Azure SQL and/or Azure Data Warehouse and Synapse a plus
β’ Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, and ASP .NET a plus
β’ Experience with writing Python a plus
β’ Experience in using Web APIs including SOAP and REST a plus
β’ Experience with Testing and Debugging tools a plus
β’ Previous experience with S4, Power BI, and AI a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
