Power BI Architect Term: 6+ Months Location: Iselin, NJ OR Remote in U.S. Rate: Open Role Overview We are seeking a Power BI Architect to support enterprise-wide governance around architecture. This role blends architectural thinking, business analysis, and data storytelling to drive actionable insights from our application portfolio. You will partner across business, IT, and architecture teams to develop charts, frameworks, and executive-ready analysis that inform strategic decisions. Key Responsibilities 1. Partner with stakeholders to enrich application data in professional tax, assurance, and advisory fields, leveraging a strong background in IT technologies including multi-cloud platforms and systems thinking. 1. Capture inventory on a regular basis by partnering with ETO, accelerate intake process and help leadership position Architecture as leading voice. 1. Build visualizations (heatmaps, quadrant charts, map to maturity ladders) to support TIME classification, cost modeling, and strategic fit. 1. Translate raw data (from excel templates) into clear, compelling insights using Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and LeanIX (preferred). 1. Clean, simplify and enhance the LeanIX data model using lifecycle metadata, relationship mappings, and business criticality tags from the data dump 1. Capture templates to capture business capability mapping for LeanIX record that is transferred from ETO. 1. Engage with IT partners on Metadata model components around sourcing, data components and build API interfaces or templates to capture data. 1. Managing the completeness of data by ensuring respective data owners are held accountable. Build workflows, reminders and audit reports that can be distributed. 1. Support completeness scoring, rule-based mapping, and maturity modeling. 1. Build short term data storage options and develop automation to produce dashboards, and for long term develop iterations to modify LeanIX factsheets. 1. Co-develop messaging toolkits, stakeholder engagement maps, and activation frameworks. 1. Validate data accuracy and ensure outputs are defensible and decision-ready. 1. Map Outsourcing applications and Enterprise technologies to business capabilities 1. Partner with ETI and Outsourcing to capture LeanIX data and aid in building future state roadmap OutSourcing, RESIG and Enterprise Technologies. 1. Required Skills & Experience • 3-5 years experience in Architecture space as Architecture Analyst, Solution Architect, aspiring to become Enterprise Architect. • Proficiency in leveraging visual tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel and/or modern visualization platforms, preference would be LeanIX dashboard management. • Experience with APM tools (LeanIX preferred) and governance frameworks. • Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and modern visualization platforms. • Strong communication and synthesis skills. • Comfort with iterative analysis and rule-based mapping. Preferred Qualifications • Familiarity with TIME classification, capability mapping, and cost-to-value modeling. • Experience supporting governance transformation or architecture activation. • Exposure to completeness scoring and maturity ladders. • Ability to build stakeholder-ready deliverables with executive polish.
