Job Title: Senior Data Analyst (PowerBI, SQL, SnowFlake) - (USC/GCs only)Pay Rate: $60 to $69.67/HR Duration: 12 monthsLocation: Irvine, CA (Onsite)
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to coordinate changes to computer databases, test, and implement the database, applying knowledge of database management systems, and visualize in Power BI the data as per team requirements.

Database Expertise :
Work with the PPM tool to support and identify tables for reporting. The analyst will update ingestion to include new tables, update the semantic model, and update reports as requested by stakeholders.
Design, develop, deploy, and manage ongoing improvement of the data warehouse, portals, and dashboards by partnering with stakeholders. Manage the complete data pipeline, from the data mart all the way through to end-user BI tools (e.g., data intake, validation, mining, modeling, visualization, and reporting)
Work with senior management, technical,a nd client teams in order to determine data requirements, business data implementation approaches, best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage, and analysis strategies
Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of the database to the management system, or direct others in coding descriptions
Design, implement, automate, and maintain large-scale enterprise data ETL processes
Modify existing databases and database management systems, and/or direct programmers and analysts to make changes
Test programs or databases, correct errors, and make necessary modifications
Analytical Expertise :
Identify, evaluate, cleanse, organize, and assess the value of disparate data sources. Identify data sources available and collect primary data where necessary.
Partner with the team to develop new analyses; collaborate with stakeholders through fact-based analyses, drive change, and develop solutions. Continually improve user experience for Business Intelligence reports and dashboards
Perform ad hoc analysis as assigned and actively identify new opportunities for value-added analytics.
Requirements :
A bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is required
5-7 years of applicable experience required
Experience with database technologies
Knowledge of the ETL process
Knowledge of at least one scripting language
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
