Power BI Contractor - Dynamics 365 / Contact Centre Outside IR35 | £475 per day | 6-Month Contract Hybrid: 2 days per week onsite - LincolnContract Overview I am seeking an experienced Power BI Contractor to deliver operational and performance reporting for a Dynamics 365 Customer Service / Contact Centre environment. This is a hands-on role focused on building high-quality, performant Power BI models and dashboards that support service operations, leadership reporting, and KPI visibility. The role is Outside IR35, offered on an initial 6-month contract, paying £475 per day, with 2 days per week onsite in Lincoln.Key Responsibilities • Design and build Power BI datasets and dashboards using: • DAX • Power Query (M) • Star-schema data models • Develop reporting directly from Dynamics 365 / Dataverse, including: • Standard and custom tables • Relationships and option sets • Deliver Customer Service / Contact Centre reporting, including: • Cases, queues, SLAs • Agent performance and call statistics • Implement robust data extraction and refresh patterns fromDataverse: • Power BI Dataverse connector • TDS endpoint • Synapse Link / Fabric where applicable • Apply Row-Level Security (RLS), governance standards, and performance optimisation • Collaborate with service and operational stakeholders to define clear KPIs, metrics, and definitions • Ensure dashboards are accurate, usable, and aligned to operational needsEssential Skills & Experience • Strong Power BI development experience (DAX, Power Query, data modelling) • Proven experience reporting from Dynamics 365 / Dataverse • Background in Customer Service or Contact Centre analytics • Experience shaping and optimising data for analytical performance • Solid understanding of Power BI security, governance, and optimisation • Ability to work independently in a contractor environmentNice to Have • Knowledge of contact centre metrics (FCR, AHT, backlog, aging) • Broader Power Platform exposure (Power Apps, Power Automate) • Experience with Power BI ALM / DevOps (pipelines, version control) • Familiarity with Fabric, Synapse, or Data Lake reporting patterns Guidant, Carbon60, Lorien & SRG - The Impellam Group Portfolio are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
