We are seeking a Power BI Developer to work on a remote team for a client project. This role is W2 hourly with Roth Staffing (Ledgent is a division of Roth), so no 3rd party candidates can be considered. Duration - 7 Months Location - REMOTE Max Pay - $42.25 JOB DESCRIPTION PowerBI Developer who will be responsible for the delivery of the Identity and Access Management (IdAM) compliance and operational analytics. Will develop and implement a data and reporting framework based on system analytics considering the IdAM strategy, security, risk, and regulatory requirements. Will also collaborate and coordinate with the IdAM platform owners to ensure the requirements are clearly defined and established timelines are met. Work to improve and track the maturity of the services showing increased adoption, usage, and value-add. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Briefly describe the essential functions and main responsibilities of the job, beginning with the most important, and identify the % of time spent on each. • Build analytics and business intelligence solutions and capabilities by gathering data from various IdAM platforms • Identify, collect, analyze, and maintain data to evaluate issues that provide insight into IdAM related services and support prospective program decisions • Define requirements for data storage and analytical data models • Create reporting/dashboard solutions to communicate effectively across all teams and stakeholders • Create and maintain documentation that includes the design, requirements, and user guides • Maintain quality assurance and quality controls to ensure IdAM services and data are inline • Contribute and collaborate within the department in accomplishing assignments and prioritizing tasks effectively working with your peers Minimum Qualifications & Experience: List knowledge, skills, abilities, mental demands and behaviors; i.e. # years of experience, education level preferred, licenses and/or certifications, tolerance for multiple demands, ability to work with others, etc. • 5+ years of experience using data visualization software, specifically MS PowerBI • 5+ years of experience designing and building database models within MS SQL Server • Experience in data extraction, data manipulation, analysis and reporting • Experience with tools/languages such as Python, Java Script, PowerShell • Experience with procedures and methods for testing business functions • Experience developing easy-to-use, interactive, and visually appealing data visualizations • Software Development Life Cycle and development concepts Education and Certifications: • BA/BS in related fields such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Visualization • CISSP, CISM, CISA or other relevant security certifications and knowledge of ISO and NIST security standards preferred Desired Skills and Experience 5+ years of experience using data visualization software, specifically MS PowerBI • 5+ years of experience designing and building database models within MS SQL Server • Experience in data extraction, data manipulation, analysis and reporting • Experience with tools/languages such as Python, Java Script, PowerShell All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
