Description Robert Half is seeking a Senior Data/BI Analyst (Contractor) to support a Finance & Accounting organization based in Seattle WA. This role involves driving automation/reporting through Power BI, Alteryx, and Excel workflows. The position is Remote, and is a 6-month contract opportunity. Apply today! Job Details • Schedule: Flexible hours • Duration: 6-month contract • Location: Remote Job Responsibilities • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards (25+ dashboards planned) to support financial reporting and investment account visibility. • Automate manual Excel workflows (journal entries, reconciliations, cadency reporting) using Alteryx and Power Query. • Partner with finance and IT/development teams to design, document, and deliver process improvements and automation. • Deliver 200-300 prioritized automation/reporting solutions out of ~700 total in scope. • Support remediation projects and ensure dashboards and data pipelines are accurate, sustainable, and client-facing. • Gather requirements from finance journal teams, document SOPs, and translate business needs into technical solutions. • Coach and upskill finance team members on adoption of more technical, automated processes. Requirements Job Requirements • Power BI - dashboard/report development, DAX, data modeling • Alteryx - workflow automation, data prep, remediation projects • Excel (Advanced) - macros, Power Query, automation of reconciliations/journal entry processes • Snowflake - ability to link and integrate Excel/Alteryx pipelines into Snowflake databases • Strong communication/documentation skills - requirements gathering, SOP creation, stakeholder interaction • Finance/accounting knowledge - journals, reconciliations, balance sheets, P& L, investments Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.
