Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer with expertise in business intelligence, data analysis, and design solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. This remote position offers a dynamic work environment where the successful candidate will lead the development and support of automation solutions to enhance business processes. As a Power BI Developer, you will be instrumental in streamlining workflows, improving data management, and driving digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
β’ Develop, support, and optimize automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) to improve internal workflows and data management.
β’ Design and implement intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for Power Apps and Power BI dashboards, ensuring accessibility and visual clarity across various devices and user roles.
β’ Maintain and enhance the performance and security of internal Power Platform solutions, adhering to organizational standards and policies.
β’ Conduct continuous user experience improvements based on feedback and usage analytics to ensure optimal functionality and user satisfaction.
β’ Provide comprehensive training and support to internal teams, promoting self-sufficiency in using Power Platform and SharePoint Online tools.
β’ Engage in UX research, wireframing, and prototyping to gather user requirements and translate them into functional design solutions.
β’ Utilize query languages such as Kusto Query Language (KQL) for data extraction and analysis to support business decision-making processes.
β’ Develop custom automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages to enhance system functionalities and data workflows.
Qualifications:
β’ Minimum of five years of experience in system implementations, preferably with a focus on business intelligence and automation.
β’ Proven expertise in Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) and SharePoint Online.
β’ Strong background in user interface design and usability, with proficiency in layout optimization and color theory.
β’ Experience with UX research methods, wireframing, and prototyping tools.
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
β’ Proficiency in query languages, with a preference for Kusto Query Language (KQL).
β’ Solid experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
β’ Ability to work independently in a remote setting, managing time and resources effectively to meet deadlines.
