About the Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced PowerBI Lead. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in PowerBI, SQL, and consulting to drive the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge business intelligence solutions for our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver insightful dashboards and reports that empower data-driven decision-making. A key aspect of this role will be supporting clients in transitioning their existing analytics infrastructure, specifically migrating from Tableau to PowerBI. Responsibilities: • PowerBI Development & Implementation: Lead the design, development, and deployment of PowerBI dashboards, reports, and data models tailored to client-specific requirements. • Migration and Modernization: Strategize, plan, and execute the migration of existing Tableau reports and dashboards to PowerBI, ensuring data integrity and consistency. • Technical Expertise: Develop and maintain documentation for PowerBI solutions, including data dictionaries, user guides, and technical specifications. • Client Engagement & Collaboration: Gather and analyze complex business requirements through client workshops, interviews, and documentation reviews, with a focus on understanding existing Tableau implementations. • Data Management & Integration: Develop and maintain data pipelines using SQL and other ETL tools to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the PowerBI data model. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • Experience in a consulting environment, with a proven track record of delivering successful PowerBI projects. • Demonstrated experience in migrating BI solutions from other platforms (e.g., Tableau) to PowerBI is highly preferred. • Expert-level proficiency in PowerBI Desktop, PowerBI Service, and DAX. • Strong SQL skills, with experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and performance optimization. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including guiding them through platform transitions. • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment. • Python experience is a plus.
