Role: Software Developer – Power Platform Developer - Copilot Studio
Employment Type: 6 months Contract (possibility of extension)
Eligibility: USC, GC, GC-EAD, H4EAD
Location: San Antonio, TX (4 days onsite)
Pay Rate: $42–$50/hr w2
NOTE:
• Core platform skills
• Strong hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, with emphasis on Power Apps, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio
• Demonstrated experience designing, building, and supporting Copilot Studio agents in an enterprise environment
Engineering and lifecycle discipline
• Solid understanding of enterprise ALM and SDLC practices, including environment strategy, source control, solution packaging, deployments, and change management
• Experience operating within regulated or controlled environments where auditability, approvals, and rollback matter
Integration and connectors
• Proven experience working with Power Platform connectors, including creating and managing custom connectors
• Experience integrating with Tier 1 enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, HR, identity, ticketing, or finance platforms)
• Comfort navigating API documentation, authentication patterns, and data security considerations
Operational mindset
• Ability to work within defined guardrails while still moving quickly
• Strong documentation habits to support supportability, handoff, and audit needs
• Clear communication and collaboration with internal teams and vendors

We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer to support automation, workflow optimization, and enterprise application modernization within the Digital Workplace and DEX Engineering organization. This role supports the 2026 DEX Strategy, with a strong emphasis on automation foundations, digital fluency, forms/data solutions, and delivery of enterprise-grade Power Platform applications.
Business Need
Digital Workplace & DEX Engineering require a seasoned Power Platform developer to accelerate delivery of automation and modernization initiatives. This contractor will directly support:
• The 2026 DEX Strategy, which prioritizes Power Platform capability growth, workflow automation, and forms/data solutions.
• AI & Power engineering functions, including process automation, workflow management, and enterprise data collection.
• Digital Workplace 2026 initiatives, focused on automation foundations, digital fluency, and enterprise solution delivery using Microsoft 365 and Power Platform technologies.
• This resource will design and deliver enterprise-grade applications across Digital Workplace initiatives, ensuring alignment with engineering, enablement, governance, and operations structures.
Required Skills & Experience
1. Power Apps Development
• Expert in Canvas and Model Driven app development.
• Experience building business process apps, forms, and data capture solutions.
• Ability to implement solutions aligned with enterprise patterns documented in AI & Power engineering functions.
1. Power Automate (Workflow & Automation)
• Strong experience building end to end automated workflows.
• Ability to develop workflows for approvals, notifications, and cross system orchestration.
• Supports organizational needs tied to workflow management and operational efficiency.
1. Dataverse
• Experience designing tables, relationships, schemas, and business rules.
• Ability to architect structured data models to support robust enterprise solutions.
1. Copilot Studio Awareness (Baseline Requirement)
• No deep bot engineering required—foundational awareness only.
• Familiarity with creating basic copilots or integrating Power Automate workflows into Copilot Studio.
• Understanding of Copilot Studio’s role in Digital Workplace enablement and future roadmap alignment.
Preferred Experience
• Delivery of enterprise-grade Power Platform solutions focused on modernization and operational efficiency.
