Power Platform Developer

We are seeking an experienced Developer / Programmer Analyst with strong expertise in Microsoft Power Platform to design, develop, and support enterprise applications. The selected candidate will work on expanding the organization’s Microsoft 365 Power Platform environment, including developing and enhancing business applications for financial tracking and workflow automation. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional business and technical teams to design scalable solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages, and related Microsoft technologies. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and deploy solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. • Build and maintain Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and Power Pages using Dataverse, SharePoint, and other data sources. • Develop automated workflows using Power Automate (Cloud Flows, Desktop Flows, Business Process Flows). • Integrate Power Platform applications with external systems and APIs through custom connectors and plug-ins. • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, clarify objectives, and translate business needs into functional solutions. • Follow Agile methodologies for sprint planning, task estimation, and iterative delivery. • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and knowledge sharing within the development team. • Maintain documentation for applications, processes, and workflows following best practices and governance standards. Required Skills & Experience • 8+ years of experience working in SaaS / PaaS environments. • Strong development experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse). • Hands-on experience with Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and Power Pages. • Solid understanding of Dataverse tables, connectors, and external integrations. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams. • Experience with Agile development practices and sprint planning. Preferred Qualifications • Experience developing custom JavaScript plug-ins and extending Power Platform functionality. • Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and reporting. • Experience with Power Virtual Agents and mobile Power Apps. • Understanding of Power Platform best practices and the Center of Excellence (CoE) model. • Prior experience working with public sector or healthcare organizations. • Ability to mentor and train other developers in Power Platform technologies.
