The Opportunity We are seeking a PowerShell & SQL Developer on a part-time contract/freelance basis to support the automation and optimisation of our business systems and databases. This role is ideal for someone with strong scripting and database skills who thrives in a flexible working environment, enjoys problem-solving, and can deliver high-quality solutions independently. You will work closely with the Business Systems team to develop automation solutions, streamline workflows, and provide data-driven support to internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and process improvements. Write and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, and database reports. Provide technical support and data-related solutions to internal teams. Collaborate with the Business Systems team to improve system efficiency. What We’re Looking For Strong PowerShell scripting experience. Proficiency in SQL (queries, stored procedures, reporting). Good problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Contract Details Engagement type: Contract / Freelance. Commitment: 15–20 hours per week. Hybrid working at least 50% office-based in Maidenhead. Flexible working hours available. Competitive hourly/daily rate based on experience.
