Principal Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Job Summary • Develop and maintain technical specifications, data mappings, program logic, and flowcharts for all change requests. • Write advanced queries to identify and remediate potential issues when interfaces fail • Automate flat file loading into Oracle using SQL • Loader, including the creation of control files for efficient data import. location: Jersey City,, New Jersey job type: Contract salary: $65 - 66 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors Responsibilities • 9+ years' experience designing and developing Oracle procedures, functions, triggers, packages, materialized views, and views using advanced features of Oracle 11g and 12c. • Manage ETL processing with Python, Oracle, and Unix, including both batch ETL and real-time stream processing. • Load and process large data sets from multiple vendors, performing data cleansing, transformation, and analytics with a focus on data modeling. Qualifications • Perform performance tuning for existing SQL and PL/SQL objects and build optimized database components. • Create complex Unix shell scripts to automate batch job processing and generate real-time and daily reports on a weekly basis. • Conduct logical and physical database design, data modeling, and prepare design specifications to analyze dependencies and assess risks.
