What You'll Be Doing:
As a Principal Power Platform Developer, you will be responsible for designing and leading the
development and implementation of custom solutions, business apps, complex workflow
automations, and digital transformation projects for wide-ranging clients using the Microsoft
Power Platform, particularly Power Automate and Power Apps. You will work closely with
business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and design
solutions to help streamline their business processes, enable efficiency and ability to scale for
growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as key technical liaison and supervisor between Head of Development and Delivery Team
Employ Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) best practices to manage the entire lifecycle of an application from conception to retirement
Design, develop, and implement workflows and automations using Power Platform solutions, including custom connectors, custom APIs, and data integration solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to understand business requirements and design solutions
Review code, supervise, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members
Provide technical support and troubleshoot any issues related to Power Automate
Create, maintain, and update documentation standards for all workflows and automations
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Power Automate and provide recommendations for new features and functionality
Drive technical discussions and lead technical decisions related to the Power Platform
Help build a culture of collaboration, creative problem solving, and technical excellence
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
5+ years of experience developing solutions using the Power Platform
3+ years of experience leading and mentoring other developers
Extensive understanding of Power Platform architecture and how it connects with other technical platforms and business environments
Excellent written and verbal communication and client facing experience
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 technologies and integrations with Power Automate
Strong understanding of Power Platform’s:
• Custom Connectors
• RPA
• AI Builder
• Solutions
• Gateways
• Power Platform CLI
Experience with RESTful web services and JSON
OAuth 2.0 understanding
SharePoint Online, Graph API, Automated Deployments, PowerShell, SQL
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C#, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps are a plus
Experience with Project Management Tools (i.e. ClickUp) and Agile Methodology
Extensive experience with Power Apps
Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) best practices and tools
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Power Bi, Power Virtual Agent, and Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
Microsoft Certification PL-200, PL-600 or PL-900 is a plus
