Role description
International Data Corporation (IDC) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Process Manager (Contractor) to support our Research & Data organization by documenting cross-functional processes, improving operational efficiency, managing long-term sustainability of new ways of working through the management of training. This role will report to the VP of Transformation and will work closely with cross-functional team members. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process improvement, business process re-engineering, and organizational change, with experience working with cross-functional teams.
This is a contract position reporting to the VP of Transformation.
Contract length: 6 months. The duration and terms of the contract will be discussed with selected candidates.

Responsibilities
β’ Assist with the design, development, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of Process design initiatives
β’ Expert facilitator in continuous improvement and process design and documentation
β’ Creates an environment that leads to the design of future state processes, baseline for performance management
β’ Documents current and future state processes, manages the development of training materials enabling an effective transition to new ways of working, supports the rollout of improved or new processes
β’ Provide project management to ensure process design agendas are completed on time and in alignment with strategic goals
β’ Identify and leverage emerging technologies and innovation to enhance business processes, reduce costs, and improve customer experience
β’ Regularly report on the status and impact of initiatives to the transformation program Steering Committee
β’ Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
β’ Foster a culture of continuous improvement and encourage feedback and input from employees at all levels
β’ Ensure stakeholder engagement and adoption of future state processes through change management strategies and effective communication
β’ Manage multiple process design initiatives simultaneously while ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
Qualifications
β’ Bachelor's degree in a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred) or minimum 5-10 years of process improvement experience encompassing facilitation, process mapping, and creating prioritized recommendations for senior leadership
β’ Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
β’ In-depth knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
β’ Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
β’ Proven success where transformation or change initiatives are long lived / sustainable in the desired changes and impact
β’ Certification in or practical experience with Lean / Six Sigma / Agile
β’ Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle
β’ Proficiency in Process documentation tools such as Visio.
