Role description
Junior & Senior Product Developer – Backend, Automation & Platform Company: B2B Tech Group Product: Company Compass (AI-generated sales intelligence dossiers) Location: Remote (Global) Type: Contract-to-hire About the Role We’re building the next generation of AI-powered sales intelligence. Company Compass is an AI workflow platform that automates the creation of high-value sales dossiers—helping businesses prospect smarter, faster, and with less manual effort. As our Product Developer, you’ll own the design, scaling, and delivery of the platform end-to-end: • Architecting redundant backend systems so we never go down when a tool, API, or vendor fails. • Running high-volume workflows with intelligent retries, monitoring, and batch processing. • Leading the frontend delivery of client-facing web applications—from design to deployment. • Integrating private LLMs to ensure accuracy, cost control, and reliability. This is a founder-led, high-iteration environment—perfect for someone who can combine technical execution with product thinking. Responsibilities Reliability & Redundancy - Deliver fallback systems, circuit breakers, retry logic, and batch failover so the platform runs at capacity even during outages. Workflow Optimization - Refactor into resilient orchestration with queues, idempotent jobs, and rate-limit-aware execution. Data Integrity & Storage - Own the data layer in Airtable, Xano, or Supabase with enforced schema discipline, deduplication, and validation. Frontend Development - Own the build and launch of performant web applications using Bubble, Softr, or Webflow, integrating backend data and optimizing for speed. UI/UX - Wireframe, prototype, and iterate on user flows; deliver clean, intuitive interfaces aligned with modern standards. Private LLM & Prompting - Deploy/manage private LLMs; maintain prompt libraries with version control and fallback models. Monitoring & Observability - Deliver complete logging, metrics, and dashboards for workflows, LLM performance, and platform stability. Qualifications • Workflow Automation: n8n (queue mode), Make.com, or similar—proficient in error handling, queuing, orchestration. • Backend & Data: Airtable, Xano, Supabase—data modeling, hygiene, and migration. • Low-code Frontend: Bubble, Softr, Webflow—building and integrating full web applications. • UI/UX Design: Wireframing, prototyping, usability iteration. • Web App Delivery: Authentication, routing, and scalable architecture. • Python: API integration, automation scripts, ETL, and data processing. • LLM Integration: Private hosting, prompt engineering, orchestration patterns. First 90 Days – What Success Looks Like • Backend continues to run at full capacity despite outages in tools/vendors. • Batch execution framework live with retry handling and monitoring. • Launch of first iteration of PDF viewer + LLM chat or MVP client portal. • Private LLM deployment live with fallback models and versioned prompts. • UI is intuitive, responsive, and optimized for performance. Who You Are • Thrive in early-stage, high-iteration environments with minimal bureaucracy. • Equally strong in backend orchestration and frontend platform delivery. • Comfortable defining scope in parallel with building. • Work in short feedback cycles, shipping value weekly. • Bring a product mindset—always thinking about user impact and scalability. How to Apply Send ely@b2btechgroup.com: 1. LinkedIn, GitHub, or portfolio link. 1. Summary of an automation or web app you’ve scaled from MVP to production. 1. Examples of redundancy or fault-tolerant systems you’ve built.
