Provider Data Specialist

Insight Global is looking to hire a REMOTE Healthcare/Medicare Provider Data Specialist! The ideal candidate has healthcare experience related to health plans, and an understanding of data inputs of provider demographic data, for any type of insurance coverage in the healthcare industry. This is a temporary position, starting as a 6 month long contract, with likely extensions! Health, Dental, and Vision benefits offered immediately. JOB SUMMARY This person will be responsible for data collection from health plans related to Medicare or commercial insurance coverage. This role is crucial by acting as the liaison between health plans, and internal teams, facilitating communication and ensuring accurate implementation of data requirements amongst multiple internal and external systems. This person will be responsible for preforming quality assurance checks, maintaining documentation, and support change requests related to data needs. Collaboration is key, as the analyst will work closely with client-facing teams and provide escalation support for data-related issues. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and thrives in fast-paced environments where problem-solving and teamwork are essential. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on operational efficiency and client satisfaction REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • Commitment to working on a temporary 6 month long contract with possible extensions • Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in data analysis and/or data entry or data transfer, within the healthcare industry • Experience with provider demographic data • Understanding of data inputs for any type of insurance coverage in the healthcare industry • Ability to read, interpret, and verify data from multiple formats • Proficiency in Excel: making formulas, pivot tables, etc. • Medicare experience preferred • Strong written/reporting and verbal communication skills, and comfortable communicating with clients and carries as needed
