Python Developer

Python Developer Location: Plano, TX. About the Role: We’re looking for an experienced Python Developer to join our team and help design, build, and deliver innovative software solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Python, Django, RESTful APIs, and front-end integration with React, along with experience in CI/CD pipelines, data workflows, and ETL processes. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and ensure high-quality, scalable code that drives real business impact. Key Responsibilities: • Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications using Python. • Design and implement RESTful APIs with Django and Django REST Framework. • Lead development projects and collaborate with internal teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions. • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment and testing. • Work with React for dynamic, user-friendly interfaces. • Develop and optimize ETL workflows and data pipelines, leveraging Apache Airflow. • Create dashboards and visualizations with Apache Superset. • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices. • Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical code reviews. • Use UNIX/Linux tools and scripting (bash, grep, awk) to automate tasks and optimize performance. Qualifications: • 4+ years of hands-on experience in Python development. • Strong skills in Django, Django REST Framework, and RESTful API design. • Experience with React for front-end development. • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps tools. • Experience with ETL processes, data pipelines, and workflow automation using Apache Airflow. • Familiarity with Apache Superset for reporting and visualization. • Comfortable in UNIX/Linux environments and with scripting tools (bash, grep, awk). • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. • Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • A creative problem solver with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
