Python/AIML Engineer
Toronto (Canada) or Mt Laurel (NJ) β 4 days/week in office
Qualifications
We are seeking a Python Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of Model Context Protocol (MCP)βbased applications in the AI/ML space. The ideal candidate will have strong Python programming skills, experience with AI/ML frameworks, and an interest in building scalable, context-driven solutions for enterprise use cases.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Design, develop, and maintain Python applications leveraging the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
β’ Integrate MCP with AI/ML models, APIs, and data pipelines.
β’ Build scalable services for real-time and batch processing of AI workflows.
β’ Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams to implement AI-driven solutions.
β’ Optimize performance and reliability of AI applications and services.
β’ Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
β’ Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
β’ Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, LLMs, and MCP.
Required Qualifications
β’ Proficiency in Python and related libraries/frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django).
β’ Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts and experience working with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face Transformers.
β’ Hands-on experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or similar context-aware integration frameworks.
β’ Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and microservices architectures.
β’ Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
β’ Experience with data integration, vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS), and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
β’ Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Nice to Have
β’ Experience working with LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel).
β’ Background in MLOps (CI/CD for ML, model deployment pipelines).
β’ Knowledge of enterprise AI security, data governance, and compliance practices.
β’ Contributions to open-source AI/LLM projects.

β’ Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
β’ 3+ years of professional Python development experience (AI/ML project experience preferred).
