Quality Assurance Developer

Description Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Developer to support a client based in Seattle, Washington. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with automation and manual testing, solid knowledge of Java frameworks, and familiarity with modern cloud and web technologies. You will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality applications by developing test strategies, executing test cases, and leveraging automation to improve efficiency. Duration: 6-month contract Location: 100% remote Pay rate: $45/hour -$60/hour Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Java frameworks. • Perform black box, gray box, and manual testing to validate application functionality, performance, and reliability. • Create, maintain, and document detailed test cases, test plans, and defect reports. • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues. • Support continuous integration and deployment processes in Azure Cloud environments. • Test and validate applications with React-based front-end technologies. • Utilize SharePoint for documentation, collaboration, and reporting. • Contribute to QA best practices, standards, and process improvements. Requirements • Proven experience with Selenium automation and Java frameworks. • Strong background in manual testing, test case design, and defect management. • Experience with black box and gray box testing methodologies. • Familiarity with React applications and front-end validation. • Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud testing and environments. • Knowledge of SharePoint for documentation and workflow management. • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities. Nice to Have: • Experience with CI/CD pipelines. • Knowledge of performance or security testing tools. • ISTQB or other QA-related certifications. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.
