RedShift Developer

Job Title: Redshift Developer Location: 100% Remote (Must work EST hours) Type: Long-Term Contract Clearance: Must be eligible for Public Trust (U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder only) Job Overview: We are seeking a Senior Redshift Developer with strong experience in Amazon Redshift, PL/SQL, and AWS technologies. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining Redshift databases, writing complex stored procedures, and performing performance tuning. This is a fully remote position supporting systems. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain complex stored procedures and schemas in Amazon Redshift. • Maintain and optimize Oracle partitions to improve query performance. • Write and maintain UNIX shell scripts for data processing and automation. • Troubleshoot and resolve database/system issues. • Perform code reviews, bug fixes, and performance tuning. • Interact directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and resolve issues. • Support existing systems and implement enhancements as needed. • Ensure compliance with IT standards and security protocols. Required Qualifications: • 10+ years of overall IT experience. • Extensive hands-on experience with Amazon Redshift. • 7-8 years of strong PL/SQL development experience. • Solid experience with AWS services. • Strong UNIX/Linux shell scripting skills. • Experience using tools like SQL Developer, PuTTY, etc. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Other Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. • Must be eligible for Public Trust Clearance: • Must have lived in the U.S. for the past 5 years continuously. • No cumulative travel abroad exceeding 6 months in that period.
