Location: 100% Remote (Must work EST hours)
Type: Long-Term Contract
Clearance: Must be eligible for Public Trust (U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder only)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Redshift Developer with strong experience in Amazon Redshift, PL/SQL, and AWS technologies. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining Redshift databases, writing complex stored procedures, and performing performance tuning. This is a fully remote position supporting systems.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Develop and maintain complex stored procedures and schemas in Amazon Redshift.
β’ Maintain and optimize Oracle partitions to improve query performance.
β’ Write and maintain UNIX shell scripts for data processing and automation.
β’ Troubleshoot and resolve database/system issues.
β’ Perform code reviews, bug fixes, and performance tuning.
β’ Interact directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and resolve issues.
β’ Support existing systems and implement enhancements as needed.
β’ Ensure compliance with IT standards and security protocols.
Required Qualifications:
β’ 10+ years of overall IT experience.
β’ Extensive hands-on experience with Amazon Redshift.
β’ 7-8 years of strong PL/SQL development experience.
β’ Solid experience with AWS services.
β’ Strong UNIX/Linux shell scripting skills.
β’ Experience using tools like SQL Developer, PuTTY, etc.
β’ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
β’ Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Other Requirements:
β’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
β’ Must be eligible for Public Trust Clearance:
β’ Must have lived in the U.S. for the past 5 years continuously.
β’ No cumulative travel abroad exceeding 6 months in that period.
