Job Description
We’re recruiting for a Risk Analyst to join us on a Fixed Term Contract until June 2026. In this role, you will support increasing resource capacity across the CIA team and CRO function by improving BAU processes through automation, process improvement and optimising where possible. You will also be contributing to deliver a scalable, consistent, global data operating model to enable Legal & General’s growth strategy.
What you’ll be doing:
• Assisting with the creation and implementation of automated solutions for Risk and Compliance processes within Asset Management, utilising available tools and technologies
• Designing and driving the implementation of tools to increase impact, insight, and provision of concise management information, reports, and presentations for Compliance and Risk globally
• Initiating suggestions for enhancing the effectiveness of processes and recommend technology-driven solutions
• Developing and maintaining an understanding of the Compliance and Risk functions, their goals, objectives, and key stakeholders
• Supporting on-team and CRO cross-projects to ensure that process efficiencies are achieved through automation and utilising database solutions
• Ensuring regular BAU tasks and ad-hoc queries are responded to in a timely fashion with an emphasis on data quality and accuracy.
• Supporting CIA to reduce legacy work by returning tasks to business areas wherever possible or to develop self-serve model
• Liaising with internal stakeholders to improve performance understanding through improvements in processing, modelling, analytical & reporting services.
• Qualifications
Who we’re looking for:
• Experience with Python, SQL (database), Alteryx, Tableau, VBA coding, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, AI LLMs (MS Co-Pilot) and development expertise will be an advantage, as would Business Analysis experience
• Ability to clean, manipulate and visualise data sets within visual analytics tool like Power BI, Tableau.
• Highly organised, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong collaborative skills and effective communication with stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, making informed decisions and taking initiative without constant supervision
• Capable of managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and standards
• Excellent attention to detail
