Job Title: S/4HANA Data Conversion Developer – Greenfield Implementation Location: Onsite Start Date: Immediate Employment Type: Contract Industry: IT / ERP / SAP Client: Global Consultancy supporting a Tier 1 Financial Services Client We are working with a leading consultancy urgently hiring an S/4HANA Data Conversion Developer to support a Greenfield S/4HANA implementation for a major financial services client. This position requires deep hands-on experience with S/4HANA data conversion and migration tools, alongside strong SAP BODS, ABAP, and SQL development skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering end-to-end data migration solutions in complex SAP environments. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and execute the full data conversion lifecycle for a Greenfield S/4HANA implementation • Analyse change request requirements and translate them into technical design documents • Design and build scalable, automated data migration solutions using SAP BODS and shell scripting • Extract and transform data from Oracle and load into HANA using appropriate SAP tools and custom processes • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure data integrity and successful cutover • Utilise ABAP for custom enhancements where required during data migration activities • Ensure compliance with project timelines, documentation standards, and quality expectations Required Skills & Experience: • 10+ years of ERP experience, with significant hands-on expertise in S/4HANA data conversion • Proven experience in Greenfield S/4HANA implementations • Strong working knowledge of SAP BODS (Business Objects Data Services) • Proficiency in ABAP development for data migration • Experience sourcing data from Oracle and loading into HANA • Advanced SQL and database development skills • Ability to develop automated end-to-end migration workflows using BODS and shell scripting • Familiarity with S/4HANA migration tools such as Migration Cockpit and LTMC Desired Skills: • Functional understanding of SAP Finance, Funds Management, and related S/4HANA modules
