Title: Salesforce Experience Cloud Developer Location : 100% Remote Target Start Date : ASAP Type: Contract Job Description: We are seeking a talented Salesforce Experience Cloud Developer to join our growing Salesforce team. In this role, you'll focus on designing and building highly functional, user-friendly digital experiences using Salesforce Experience Cloud (formerly Community Cloud). This is a hands-on development role where you'll contribute to portal architecture, component development, third-party integrations, and responsive user experiences. If you are passionate about delivering intuitive self-service portals and engaging customer, partner, or member-facing solutions - this is the role for you. Key Responsibilities: โ€ข Experience Cloud Development โ€ข Design and build custom Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura components for Experience Cloud sites. โ€ข Customize templates, page layouts, and themes to match UX/UI design specifications. โ€ข Implement personalized experiences using audience targeting, page variations, and dynamic content. โ€ข Platform Configuration & Customization โ€ข Configure Experience Builder and leverage declarative tools (Flows, Custom Metadata, Permission Sets, etc.). โ€ข Integrate external systems via Apex, REST APIs, and third-party services. โ€ข Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of mockups and wireframes. โ€ข Quality & Performance โ€ข Follow secure coding practices and conduct peer code reviews. โ€ข Optimize page load speed and component performance across devices and browsers. โ€ข Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, deployment issues, and user-reported concerns. โ€ข Project & Team Collaboration โ€ข Work closely with business analysts, designers, architects, and QA to deliver high-quality experiences. โ€ข Contribute to sprint planning, estimations, and deployment activities in agile environments. โ€ข Maintain documentation of customizations, integrations, and release notes. Required Skills : โ€ข 3+ years of Salesforce development experience, including 1+ years specifically working on Experience Cloud implementations. โ€ข Proficient in Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, SOQL, and Salesforce Data Model. โ€ข Strong front-end skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) with attention to responsive and accessible design. โ€ข Experience configuring Experience Cloud sites using Experience Builder. โ€ข Familiarity with roles, sharing rules, and visibility models in Experience Cloud. โ€ข Understanding of user authentication mechanisms such as SSO, social logins, and login flows. BonSoft Skills : โ€ข Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification (PDII and Experience Cloud Consultant a plus). โ€ข Experience with custom domain setup, CDN, and branding best practices. โ€ข Familiarity with tools like Figma, Git, VS Code, and SFDX. โ€ข Background in B2B or B2C portals for industries like nonprofit, education, financial services, or healthcare.
