Title: SAP Data Lead
Location: Bismarck, ND (Hybrid - weekly or bi-weekly basis)
Duration: Contract 6+ months and possibility for extension - This duration is subject to changes based on the project's requirement and/or the client's sole discretion.
Rate: $65/hr - $70/hr on W2 All Inclusive Danta Technologies payroll
Customer Industry: Utility
Note: The client expects the SAP Reporting lead to travel to the Bismarck, North Dakota, office regularly either:

The rest of the time, the role is likely to be remote, but you must be willing and able to travel on-site regularly, which makes this a hybrid role with frequent travel requirements.
Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Data Migration Specialist to lead and execute critical data migration projects from legacy systems to our SAP environment. This role requires deep expertise in data migration methodologies, tools, and best practices, with a specific focus on migrating legacy data to SAP S/4 and other SAP like Successfactors, Ariba etc. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully migrating complex datasets in large-scale enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
β’ Lead and manage all phases of data migration projects, from planning and design to execution, testing, and go-live support.
β’ Develop and implement data migration strategies, including data profiling, cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
β’ Utilize various data migration tools, including Syniti, to automate and streamline the migration process.
β’ Design and develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for migrating data from legacy systems to SAP and SuccessFactors.
β’ Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
β’ Work closely with technical teams to ensure seamless integration between legacy systems and SAP environments.
β’ Perform data quality checks and resolve data inconsistencies and errors.
β’ Document data migration processes, procedures, and best practices.
β’ Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting.
β’ Mentor and guide junior data migration team members.
β’ Stay up-to-date with the latest data migration technologies and trends.
β’ Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
β’ Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with data migration projects.
β’ Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
Qualifications
β’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
β’ Minimum of 15 years of experience in data migration, with a strong focus on SAP implementations.
β’ Extensive experience migrating HR data to SuccessFactors.
β’ Proven experience migrating data for other SAP modules (e.g., Finance, Materials Management, Sales & Distribution).
β’ Hands-on experience with data migration tools, including Syniti.
β’ Strong understanding of data migration methodologies and best practices.
β’ Expertise in data profiling, cleansing, transformation, and validation techniques.
β’ Proficiency in SQL and other data manipulation languages.
β’ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
β’ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
β’ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
β’ Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Preferred Qualifications
β’ SAP certifications related to data migration.
β’ Experience with other data migration tools and technologies.
β’ Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
