Job OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented SAP EAM/PM (Enterprise Asset Management / Plant Maintenance) Specialist to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in implementing, configuring, and maintaining SAP EAM/PM modules to optimize asset lifecycle management, enhance operational efficiency, and support our digital transformation initiatives. Duties
Lead the design, development, and deployment of SAP EAM/PM solutions aligned with business requirements and best practices in system architecture.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP EAM/PM with other enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Pegasystems, and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
Develop and maintain custom interfaces using APIs, RESTful services, and web services to facilitate data exchange between SAP and external applications.
Conduct system analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging to resolve issues related to asset management workflows, ensuring high availability and performance.
Implement system hardening, vulnerability assessments, and security protocols including firewall configurations, VPNs, and cloud security measures to safeguard enterprise data.
Manage database configurations and optimize performance using SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL), NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL or MongoDB, and ETL processes for data migration and reporting.
Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines utilizing tools such as Jenkins or Git for seamless updates and system releases.
Participate in Agile development cycles, contributing to system design discussions that incorporate microservices architecture, Kubernetes orchestration, and DevOps practices.
Ensure compliance with IT infrastructure standards including load balancing, system virtualization (VMware, ESXi), operating systems (Windows/Linux), and network configurations such as DHCP, DNS, GPOs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications preferred.
Proven experience with SAP EAM/PM modules in enterprise environments; familiarity with solution architecture principles is essential.
Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA), system design principles, and SDLC methodologies.
Hands-on experience with programming languages such as JavaScript, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails or VBA for automation and customization tasks.
Expertise in database management systems including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL; proficiency in scripting languages like Shell Scripting or Bash is advantageous.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), virtualization technologies (VMware), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and DevOps tools (Jenkins).
Familiarity with IT security best practices including threat intelligence, vulnerability management & assessment, system hardening techniques & firewall configuration.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues involving network configurations (VPNs), load balancing solutions like Meraki or WDS setups.
