Senior Agentic AI Developer (Contract)

About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Agentic AI Developer for contract-based projects involving cutting-edge autonomous AI systems. This remote contract role combines advanced AI development with modern cloud infrastructure, requiring expertise in building intelligent agents that can reason, plan, and execute complex tasks autonomously. Key Responsibilities AI Agent Development • Design and implement sophisticated agentic AI systems using Claude and other large language models • Build autonomous agents capable of multi-step reasoning, planning, and task execution • Develop agent orchestration frameworks and tool integration systems • Create robust prompt engineering strategies and conversation management systems Full-Stack Development • Build responsive web applications using ReactJS with modern hooks and state management • Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js • Implement real-time communication systems for agent-human interaction • Create intuitive user interfaces for agent management and monitoring Cloud Infrastructure & AI Services • Architect and deploy applications using AWS Amplify for full-stack development • Integrate Amazon Bedrock for advanced AI model access and management • Implement serverless architectures using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB • Design secure, scalable infrastructure for AI workloads Development Workflow & Tools • Utilize Claude Code for enhanced AI-assisted development workflows • Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies • Write comprehensive documentation and maintain code quality standards • Collaborate with cross-functional teams using modern development practices Required Qualifications Technical Expertise • 3+ years of professional software development experience • Advanced proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem • Expert-level ReactJS skills including hooks, context, and modern patterns • Hands-on experience with AWS Amplify for full-stack application development • Proven experience with Amazon Bedrock and AI model integration • Advanced knowledge of Claude API and agentic AI development patterns • Experience with Claude Code for AI-assisted development workflows AI & Machine Learning • Deep understanding of large language models and their capabilities/limitations • Experience building multi-agent systems and tool-calling frameworks • Knowledge of prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and model optimization • Understanding of AI safety considerations and responsible AI development Professional Skills • Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal) • Self-starter with strong initiative and independent problem-solving abilities • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders • Experience working in agile development environments • Strong debugging and performance optimization skills Preferred Qualifications • Experience with additional AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3) • Knowledge of vector databases and embedding technologies • Background in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) • Contributions to open-source AI or developer tools projects • Previous experience in AI research or product development • Knowledge of AI ethics and responsible AI development practices What We Offer Professional Growth • Opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI technologies • Access to latest AI models and development tools • Exposure to complex, challenging projects • Portfolio-building opportunities with innovative AI systems Work Environment • Fully remote work with flexible scheduling • Collaborative, innovation-focused culture • State-of-the-art development tools and resources • Direct impact on product direction and AI strategy • Autonomy in technical decision-making Compensation • Competitive hourly/project-based rates commensurate with experience • Flexible contract terms and project scope • Payment for specialized expertise in emerging AI technologies How to Apply Please submit your application including: 1.
