Role description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AI Cloud Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of next-generation AI and cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Generative AI, AWS AI/ML services, cloud infrastructure, and data engineering, with a proven track record of delivering scalable and secure solutions in enterprise or federal environments. Key Responsibilities Build and optimize next-generation AI & analytics frameworks using core technologies. Utilize Generative AI techniques to create innovative business solutions. Leverage AWS AI services (Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, Comprehend, Rekognition, Transcribe) for accelerated AI development and deployment. Lead multi-functional teams in designing and implementing secure, cloud-based AI and data solutions. Design, maintain, and optimize scalable, secure, and repeatable data pipelines. Utilize AWS data services (Amazon S3, Redshift, DynamoDB) to manage and process large-scale datasets. Develop and manage cloud infrastructure, including data lakes, warehouses, and analytics platforms. Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and federal cloud regulations (FedRAMP, FISMA). Promote DevSecOps practices by adhering to secure software development standards. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate AI model development and deployment. Provide training, bootcamps, and cross-training workshops for internal teams and clients. Act as a thought leader by promoting adoption of new software and AI technologies across the organization. Required Qualifications 10+ years of professional experience in AI, cloud engineering, or related roles. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or equivalent work experience. Strong expertise in Generative AI, AWS AI services, and AWS data services. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar. Hands-on experience with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitLab. Knowledge of data engineering concepts, cloud infrastructure, and governance/security best practices. Experience with DevSecOps and CI/CD automation. Familiarity with government cloud deployment standards (FedRAMP, FISMA). Experience working with models such as GPT, Llama, Claude, and HuggingFace ecosystems. Strong knowledge of deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, Transformers). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders. Contributions to open-source AI communities (preferred). Certifications (Preferred) AWS AI or Machine Learning certifications. Eligibility Requirements (Federal Project) Due to federal contract requirements, only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents (Green Card holders) are eligible. Final candidates must meet federal security clearance requirements, which may include a background investigation and identity verification.
