Job Title: AI Engineer / AI Expert Location: Santa Clara, CA (Hybrid – Minimum 3 Days Onsite per Week) Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI Engineer / AI Expert with a strong foundation in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML projects and 10+ years of overall professional experience across any domain. This is an Individual Contributor role that requires technical depth, ownership of solutions, and strong communication skills. The role is based in Santa Clara, CA, with a hybrid work model (minimum 3 days onsite per week).Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models and solutions for real-world applications. Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights using statistical and machine learning techniques. Work independently to drive AI initiatives from ideation through deployment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders. Stay updated with the latest AI technologies, frameworks, and research trends. Present technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Required Qualifications: 10+ years of overall professional experience in software engineering, data analysis, or related fields. 2+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML development (model training, evaluation, and deployment). Proficiency in Python and ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, HuggingFace, etc. Experience with data preprocessing, model optimization, and MLOps tools and practices. Understanding of NLP, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, or Generative AI is a plus. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field. Experience deploying models to production using cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). Familiarity with LLMs (Large Language Models) and prompt engineering. Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive projects forward with minimal supervision.
