Title: Senior AI Platform Contractor
Duration: 1 year Contract
Location: Fully Remote
Rate: $100-$105/hr on W2 (All Inclusive / no benefits)
Job Description:
SUMMARY
The Senior AI Platform Contractor is responsible for designing, building, and operationalizing enterprise‑grade AI agents and applications across Copilot Studio and Azure AI platforms. This role partners closely with the AI Platform Services team, Security, Data, and business stakeholders to translate approved AI use cases into secure, scalable, and reusable solutions. This is a hands‑on individual contributor role focused on delivery, durability, and platform leverage
WHAT YOU’LL DO HERE
Leverage the client's Leadership Blueprint (Grow, Connect, Achieve, Innovate & Think) while operating as a senior technical contributor.
Drive the design and delivery of production‑ready AI agents and applications using Copilot Studio, Python, APIs, and Azure services
Build and maintain scalable data grounding and retrieval (RAG) pipelines using enterprise data sources and search technologies
Collaborate with platform, security, data, and business teams to ensure AI solutions align to enterprise standards and approved architectures
Apply secure‑by‑default patterns, including identity, access control, logging, and Responsible AI considerations
Maintain reusable patterns, reference implementations, and technical documentation to accelerate future AI delivery
Support evaluation, testing, and operational readiness of AI solutions prior to production deployment
Contribute platform insights and recommendations to improve AI development standards and paved‑road capabilities
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field — or equivalent practical experience
Minimum 7+ years experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or AI‑enabled application development
Strong hands‑on experience with Python, APIs, and cloud‑based application architectures
Demonstrated experience building LLM‑powered agents or AI applications, including prompt design, tool integration, and grounding
Solid understanding of data retrieval and RAG patterns, including embeddings, search, and enterprise data sources
Working knowledge of identity, security, and governance concepts (e.g., RBAC, managed identity, enterprise security controls)
Ability to operate independently in a matrixed enterprise environment and deliver high‑quality results with minimal supervision
Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
