We’re hiring a Senior AI/ML Engineer with strong experience in Generative AI, MLOps, and distributed systems for a long-term contract role based in Charlotte, NC. You’ll lead the development of scalable AI solutions using LLMs, vector databases, and modern cloud/data tools.
Key Skills:
Generative AI (LLMs, embeddings, RAG, vector search)
MLOps (AWS SageMaker, model deployment, Ray)
Big Data (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, HBase, Cassandra)
Programming (Python, Java, Shell; Scala/R is a plus)
Data Platforms (Milvus, MongoDB, Postgres, Redis)
DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Git, Linux)
Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Microsoft Tools (Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Dynamics 365)
Strong leadership & mentoring experience

Enterprise/financial services background

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy models using MLOps practices and tools such as Terraform and AWS.
Optimize data processing pipelines utilizing Hadoop and HBase, ensuring efficient data management and retrieval.
Conduct model training and evaluation, leveraging Python, Scala, and SQL to enhance performance and accuracy.
Stay updated with industry trends and contribute to innovative AI solutions.
