Job Summary
The Senior Analyst β AI Governance, Risk & Privacy Compliance will play a critical role in supporting the development and execution of enterprise-wide AI governance and privacy programs. This position will focus on assessing risk, ensuring compliance with evolving state-level consumer privacy laws, and implementing best practices across AI governance, privacy operations, and data risk management.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on practitioner experienced in operationalizing AI governance frameworksβnot a legal advisor, but someone who has designed, implemented, and managed these programs in practice. This role will also collaborate closely with cross-functional βsquadβ teams to embed responsible data and AI practices into new products and personalization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Support the design and implementation of AI governance and privacy risk frameworks , ensuring alignment with regulatory and ethical standards.
β’ Evaluate AI systems and data-driven products for compliance with state-level consumer privacy regulations and internal governance policies.
β’ Partner with product and engineering squads to guide privacy-by-design and responsible AI practices throughout the data lifecycle.
β’ Lead assessments of AI model transparency, data handling, and bias mitigation processes.
β’ Collaborate with Privacy, Data Governance, and Risk teams to monitor compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
β’ Develop and maintain key metrics and reporting dashboards to track AI governance and privacy compliance effectiveness.
β’ Serve as an internal advisor on AI risk and privacy best practices, providing education and operational guidance across business units.
β’ Participate in governance reviews, risk assessments, and readiness evaluations for new data products and AI initiatives.
Requirements
β’ Education: Bachelorβs degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Privacy, Risk Management, or related field.
β’ Experience:
β’ 6+ years of experience in Privacy, Risk, or Data Governance functions, with at least 2+ years focused on AI governance or responsible AI initiatives .
β’ Demonstrated experience implementing privacy operations or AI compliance programs (not policy-only roles).
β’ Hands-on experience with Privacy Trust and Compliance platforms such as OneTrust, TrustArc, or Dataiku .
β’ Experience working within agile, cross-functional teams or βsquadβ models preferred.
β’ Exposure to consumer-focused industries and state-level privacy regulations (e.g., CCPA, CPA, VCDPA).
β’ Skills:
β’ Deep understanding of AI governance frameworks , data ethics , and privacy-by-design principles.
β’ Strong knowledge of risk evaluation , control design , and compliance monitoring processes.
β’ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
β’ Strategic thinker who can translate policy into actionable implementation guidance.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Certification in AI Governance , Privacy (CIPP/US, CIPM) , or Risk Management .
β’ Familiarity with data mesh , data governance models , or privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs) .
β’ Experience using OneTrust , TrustArc , or similar tools for privacy management and AI risk assessment.
β’ Prior experience in regulated or compliance-driven industries (excluding healthcare or finance).
