Senior BI Analyst (SQL/Tableau/Python)

Senior BI Analyst – Supply Chain Analytics 6-Month Contract (with potential to extend or convert to full-time) Fully Remote (onsite in Vinings, GA from Mon-Thurs if converted to FTE) Overview We are seeking a Senior BI Analyst with expertise in Python, SQL, Tableau, and predictive analytics. In this role, you will develop and deploy predictive models that enhance supply chain efficiency and improve forecasting accuracy. You will work with large datasets across SAP and Snowflake environments to deliver strategic insights, with a strong focus on forecasting container arrivals, optimizing inventory levels, and identifying cost-saving opportunities – all in support of a major ERP modernization and the nationwide consolidation of distribution centers. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and implement predictive models in Python to forecast container arrivals, inventory levels, and other supply chain KPIs. • Use advanced SQL to extract, transform, and optimize large datasets for analysis. • Build and maintain Tableau dashboards to visualize predictive model outputs and track performance metrics. • Perform data validation and performance tuning to ensure models and queries run efficiently while minimizing server load. • Collaborate with business, operations, and IT teams to define requirements and translate them into scalable analytics solutions. • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align predictive analytics initiatives with business priorities. • Support scenario planning, cost optimization, and strategic decision-making through advanced analytics. • Document predictive models, methodologies, and processes for transparency and repeatability. Qualifications • 8+ years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics roles, with heavy emphasis on Python and predictive analytics. • Proven experience with forecasting models and statistical methods applied to supply chain operations. • Advanced proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, or equivalent libraries). • Expertise in SQL for querying and optimizing large datasets. • Proficiency in Tableau for building interactive and high-performance dashboards. • Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data platforms. • Strong business acumen and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
