Role description
Position Overview
This role will own the architecture, modeling, transformation, and delivery of embedded analytics experiences across the Clearpath platform.
The ideal candidate has deep experience building scalable BI and analytics solutions in AWS-native environments and understands how to transform complex operational data into performant, secure, customer-facing reporting products.
You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Leadership to design analytics experiences that provide operational insights to healthcare organizations using the Clearpath platform.
This is not a traditional internal reporting role. This is a platform analytics engineering role focused on embedded BI within a multi-tenant SaaS application.
Responsibilities
β’ Design and build scalable analytics and reporting architecture within AWS
β’ Rationalize and model transactional data from multi-tenant Amazon RDS environments
β’ Develop canonical reporting models and analytics data structures
β’ Build and maintain embedded Amazon QuickSight dashboards and reporting experiences
β’ Implement row-level security and tenant-aware data access controls
β’ Optimize dashboard performance, query efficiency, and data pipelines
β’ Partner with Product and Engineering teams to define customer-facing analytics features
β’ Support BI investigations and ad hoc analysis related to customer operational workflows
β’ Develop scalable reporting standards, governance, and best practices
β’ Assist in defining the long-term analytics and data platform strategy
β’ Ensure reporting solutions meet healthcare security and compliance expectations
Required Qualifications
β’ 5+ years of experience in BI, analytics engineering, data engineering, or related fields
β’ Strong experience with:
β’ Amazon QuickSight
β’ AWS ecosystem
β’ SQL
β’ Amazon RDS
β’ Data modeling
β’ Analytics engineering
β’ Embedded BI/reporting
β’ Experience building analytics solutions for SaaS or multi-tenant platforms
β’ Strong understanding of row-level security and tenant isolation concepts
β’ Experience transforming operational transactional data into reporting models
β’ Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
β’ Strong problem-solving and systems-thinking skills
