Title :- Senior Data Analyst (Mortgage Domain) Location :- McLean - VA, On-Site Work Arrangement: Fully on-site from day one. Candidate Preference: Local candidates prioritised. Contract Type: Contract role with potential for extension. Job Description :- • The consultant will bring SQL, Data Modeling, Data Analysis, Data Visualisation, Report Generation, and Mortgage-related experience. Requirements: • 08+ Years of experience in Business Analysis and Data Analysis. • Strong proficiency in SQL. • Experience working in Agile environments, including: • Creating business and technical user stories. • Using Jira for backlog and Sprint management. • Mortgage domain experience (Specifically required). • Experience with securitization and/or Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae environments. • Familiarity with command-line operations, including: • Executing Python scripts. • Navigating log directories to analyse system logs. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to: • Interpret data from multiple, disparate sources. • Distill complex information into actionable insights. • Ability to translate non-technical business requirements into technical rules or methodologies. • Ability to quickly learn business operations and processes. • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Flexibility and adaptability to adjust priorities based on evolving business needs. Responsibilities: • Contribute to the development of strategic, scalable data platforms in partnership with business and technology stakeholders. • Partner with client analytics teams to understand business-specific data sources, data elements, and data relationships. • Translate high-level business requirements into end-to-end analytical solutions. • Identify opportunities for advanced analytics and reporting across business-aligned testing teams. • Collaborate with clients to expand capabilities in: • Machine learning • Natural Language Processing • Automation • Perform exploratory data analysis to build a strong understanding of targeted business areas. • Work closely with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and drive project objectives.
