The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data modeling, SQL, and stored procedures, along with a deep understanding of cloud-based data warehouse architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain database solutions using Oracle and Snowflake.
Build and optimize data models, ensuring high performance and scalability.
Implement role-based access control and performance tuning in Snowflake.
Integrate data with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI, Excel, or ODBC/JDBC connections.
Support ETL processes; familiarity with tools like Informatica is a plus.
Migrate reporting workloads from legacy platforms to cloud-based solutions.
Work with Snowflake features like Data Sharing, Snowpipe, and Snowpark.
Collaborate with stakeholders in financial or government data environments.
Create detailed documentation and contribute to best practices in data engineering.
