Summary:
In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
Responsibilities:
β’ Work in a fast-paced environment
β’ Understand business requirements and translate them into data models and solutions that efficiently meet customer needs
β’ Work quickly and independently to meet required sprint objectives
β’ Research, trend, analyze, and model data
β’ Customer service focused with experience actively listening, eliciting information, comprehending customer issues/needs, and recommending solutions
β’ Act as a liaison between the client area and technical organization
β’ Actively participates in cross-team meetings and is excited to share knowledge for broader team improvement
β’ Effective communicator across technical and non-technical teams
β’ Expected to drive design discussions and architecture for cloud migration efforts
β’ Must be comfortable leading design and engaging with offshore and cross-functional teams
Qualifications:
β’ Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
β’ Strong experience with PySpark in building ETL/ELT data pipelines in enterprise level production environments β must have
β’ Past experience with ETL developments tools such as Ab Initio - preferred
β’ Databases: No SQL DBs Hive, Hadoop, Mongo DB, SQL Server
β’ Cloud experience
β’ CI/CD processes
β’ Unix Shell Scripting
β’ Automation & Orchestration Tools
β’ Solid knowledge and understanding of processes, procedures, and technologies
β’ Experience with Agile
β’ Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
β’ Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
β’ Advanced SQL experience
