Pay Rate - $58-$60 per hour

We’re looking for a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer / Cloud Infrastructure Expert
If designing, building, and scaling enterprise‑grade Azure data platforms excites you, this role is worth a look.
What you’ll do
• Design, build, and support Azure data services including Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, ADLS, Event Hub, Service Bus, Redis Cache, MS Fabric, and Azure Synapse
• Build and scale Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform, Bicep, or Ansible
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for infrastructure, schema changes, patching, and automation
• Troubleshoot complex issues across networking, identity, performance, and platform integration
• Implement automation for backups, disaster recovery, monitoring, patching, and configuration drift detection
• Support AKS clusters for data microservices, including scaling, storage, networking, and observability
• Enforce security and compliance using Azure Policy, RBAC, Managed Identities, and private endpoints
• Optimize performance, capacity, and cloud cost for data workloads
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and security teams
• Document standards, procedures, and automation for operational continuity
What you bring
• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, DevOps, or data platform engineering
• 6+ years of hands‑on Azure engineering experience
• Deep expertise in Azure data services (Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Synapse, ADLS, Event Hub, Key Vault, MS Fabric)
• Strong Infrastructure‑as‑Code skills using Terraform, Bicep, or Ansible
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Strong experience with AKS/Kubernetes, Helm, operators, and data workloads
• Solid cloud networking and security expertise (VNETs, private endpoints, Azure AD, RBAC)
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana
• Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and influence architectural decisions
