Role description
JustinBradleyβs client, a leading source of mortgage financing, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Integration & Cloud Engineer with hands-on experience in migrating Informatica PowerCenter code to Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) using the Self Service Workbench. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in AWS cloud services, data processing frameworks, and automation tools, with a proven track record in production support and technical troubleshooting. This role is critical to our ongoing modernization efforts, and requires an individual who is technically versatile, proactive, and comfortable working in fast-paced, high-availability environments.
Responsibilities:
β’ Lead the conversion of Informatica PowerCenter code to IDMC using Self Service Workbench
β’ Execute and analyze CDI-PC assessments, interpreting results to guide IDMC migrations
β’ Design, implement, and support cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as EC2, SSM, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and Lambda
β’ Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using Spark, PySpark, Amazon EMR/Hadoop, and AWS Glue
β’ Develop and maintain scripts in Python and Unix Shell for automation and orchestration
β’ Automate provisioning and configuration tasks using Terraform, GitLab, Ansible, and custom scripting
β’ Provide 24/7 production support, including incident management, root cause analysis, and proactive system monitoring
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment, maintenance, and performance optimization
β’ Communicate complex technical concepts clearly in meetings, documentation, and presentations
Requirements:
β’ Proven experience migrating Informatica PowerCenter to IDMC using Self Service Workbench
β’ Strong understanding of CDI-PC assessment flags and how they impact IDMC migration paths
β’ Hands-on expertise with AWS services:
β’ EC2, SSM, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Lambda
β’ Experience with Spark, PySpark, Amazon EMR, Hadoop, and AWS Glue
β’ Proficient in Python and Unix Shell scripting
β’ Demonstrated experience automating infrastructure using tools like:
β’ Terraform, GitLab, Ansible (or Python)
β’ 24/7 production support experience with strong troubleshooting and resolution skills
β’ Excellent communication, time management, and technical presentation abilities
