Role: Senior Applied Data Scientist – Computer Vision & Generative AI Location: Irvine, CA (hybrid considered) | Duration: 12 Months Open for local candidates only, w2 preferred. We are seeking a senior-level Applied Data Scientist to drive innovation in pharmaceutical R&D through Computer Vision (CV), Generative AI, and LLMs. This role blends research with practical deployment of cutting-edge models to transform image-based healthcare applications. Must-Have Skills: • 7+ years in ML/Data Science with expertise in Computer Vision, CNNs, Generative AI for images • Strong proficiency in Python, Postgres, Linux, and AWS • Experience developing & fine-tuning deep learning models, especially CNNs, SSM, and ensemble models • Hands-on with LLMs and prompt engineering • Strong problem-solving, model optimization, and deployment expertise • MSc/PhD in a relevant technical field Bonus: Background in pharma/biotech, experience with multi-modal AI, or deeper work with LLMs Detailed/Full-version of job description available upon request.
