Our client is looking for a Senior Data Scientist-Pricing for a 6-month contract and will be working remotely. Job Title: Senior Data Scientist-Pricing Location: Woodland Hills California 91367 (100% Remote) Duration: 6 months Type: Contract Only W2 Candidates Required Skills & Experience • High School Diploma or equivalent. • Minimum two years of work experience in data analysis, statistical or mathematical modeling, or related. • Advanced Python coding skills. • Ability to understand and implement sophisticated pricing algorithms. • Ability to work with large datasets and perform data transformation. • Ability to reconcile data. • Good communication and documentation skills. Desired Skills & Experience • Master’s degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, business analytics, or related. • Experience in the insurance industry. What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities • Utilizes in-depth insurance pricing knowledge to help build a Python program to help set base rates and perform market disruption analysis. • Works on complex projects, operationalizing business decisions, and works independently, receiving minimal guidance from the manager.
