YSI is seeking a Senior ICAM Database Administrator (Oracle) to work in our Washington, DC office. YSI is seeking a Senior DBA Engineer to join our growing team in support of a high-profile federal customer based in the Washington, DC area. This globally recognized agency plays a critical role in national law enforcement and intelligence operations. In this role, you will provide senior-level database expertise, including strategic planning and hands-on support for the migration of existing database systems to the cloud. Experience with Oracle Exadata environments is essential, as you will be managing and optimizing performance across both on-prem and cloud-based platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to work on mission-critical systems that directly support national security objectives. Primary Duties: Respond to Tier-3 and 4 service tickets and special projects with senior level engineering Configure Oracle applications and databases to include Oracle Application Servers (WebLogic), Applications (OIM), Databases (Oracle Database 12c/19c), Exadata Perform the development of new or existing software architectural plans and designs Create/Update Automated System Health Checks for daily, weekly and monthly status Support System backup/recovery Continuity of Operations (COOP) and Data Center Disaster Recovery (DCDR) exercises and activities Maintain up-to-date knowledge for both tools and operating systems as new versions are approved for use This role is 100% onsite.
