Senior Developer (MERN)

Industry : Utility Job Title: Senior Developer (MERN) Duration: 6-8 months, possibility to extend up to a year Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid) Must have Skills: • Full stack development 3-5 years • JavaScript/TypeScript 3-5 years • Angular 3-5 years • NodeJS 2-3 years • HTML 3-5 years • CSS 3-5 years • Express/Axios • MongoDB • Git • Solid Fundamentals of RESTful APIs • OOP (Object Oriented Programming) • Unit Testing Experience (Jest) • RxJS (not required, but a plus) Day-to-Day Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using ReactJS, NextJS, NestJS, and Node/ExpressJS. • Own the full application lifecycle — development, deployment, and ongoing operations. • Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support functionality. • Apply infrastructure knowledge (servers, DNS, firewalls, load balancers, NFS shares, Active Directory) to support applications. • Use Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting for system tasks and automation. • Collaborate with product owners, designers, onshore/offshore engineers to deliver features and resolve technical issues. • Ensure best practices in code quality, security, and performance optimization. • Provide technical guidance to other developers as needed. • Stay current with emerging tools, frameworks, and practices, adopting where appropriate.
