This position is located in the Washington, DC area and will be a hybrid on-site/remote position. Responsibilities • Design, document, and implement SAP Data Service jobs to extract, transform, and load data from source systems into reporting data marts/data warehouse in Oracle • Work with Business Analysts and System and Data Architects in the development of new solutions • Support existing SAP Data Services solutions • Ensure documentation is created, maintained and accurate • Ensure best practices are followed during system design and build Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, information systems, engineering, business management or other related technical areawith 8+years (or commensurate experience) Required Skills And Experience • 5+ years of proven experience in the design, development and implementation of ETL processes for Data Warehousing, Data Migration projects • 8+ years writing SQL • 5+ years writing Oracle PL/SQL with a minimum 2 year of PL/SQL and an equivalent programming language (i.e T-SQL, Postgres SQL) • 3+ years of SAP Data Services or equivalent ETL tools (i.e. SSIS, DataStage, Informatica) • 5+ years of experience working with relational and dimensional data models • 2+ years of government contracting experience • 2+ years working in an Agile environment • Solid understanding of ETL best practices • Experience gathering and refining requirements, interviewing business users to understand and document data requirements • Attention to detail and highly organized • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts to customers in a clear and concise manner • Resourceful and creative in solving problems and overcoming obstacles • Must be a well-motivated team player • Clearance Required: Able to acquire and maintain AOUSC Public Trust Preferred Skills And Experience • 5+ years of experience working in an Enterprise Data Warehouse environment Company Overview GovCIO is a team of transformers--people who are passionate about transforming government IT.
