Role description
β’ Research projects and programs related to the proposals and documents.
β’ Track, Evaluate, and Report on OATS's SDS Contractor and State payroll Project Labor budgeting and spending.
β’ Perform technical and detailed writing, editing, and proofreading of required correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents.
β’ Research, assist in development and/or perform technical reviews on federal financial proposals (similar to grants), reports, and planning documents within required timelines.
β’ Work closely with agency management and project teams to gain an understanding of project and related requirements in order to assist with the development of training material and/or recommend related process improvements.
β’ Organize material and complete writing assignments according to agency standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
β’ Utilize a combination of computer and critical thinking skills.
β’ Maintain confidentiality and ability to exercise discretion is essential.
Required Qualifications:
β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of recent, relevant work experience.
β’ 3+ years of data tracking, reporting, and/or data validation.
β’ 3+ years documenting, reviewing, improving, and communicating business processes.
β’ 3+ years of accounting operational processing or budget development, including analyzation and recommendation for remaining budgets based on historical spending and research.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Product Suites (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, which includes knowledge of pivot tables and comparing multiple data sources using Excel.
β’ Experience developing documents based on information obtained through multiple subject matter experts and research.
β’ Experience utilizing time management capabilities, often ensuring compliance with external imposed deadlines, such as federal or state deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Prior writing experience of financial request documents and/or justifications in a governmental environment.
β’ Working knowledge of government regulations as they pertain to the grant proposal and advance planning document writing process.
β’ Prior experience preparing healthcare information technology proposals or working in the healthcare technology environment.
β’ Prior experience writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
β’ Prior experience with eMars, Budgeting, Accounting, and/or Human Resource systems.
