Job Title: Senior Lead AWS Developer / Engineer Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid – 2 days onsite: Wednesday & Thursday; 3 days remote) Job Type: Contract (01 Year – Extendable) Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Lead AWS Developer/Engineer to spearhead the migration of APIs from Mulesoft to AWS API Gateway. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud-native development, API integration, and AWS services, along with proven leadership in designing scalable and secure enterprise solutions. Key Responsibilities • API Migration & Development • Lead the migration of APIs from Mulesoft to AWS API Gateway. • Build, deploy, and maintain reusable, scalable, and secure APIs using AWS Lambda • and microservices architecture. • Implement API-first and design-first strategies to support enterprise integrations. • Integration & Solution Architecture • Define and implement cloud-native integration patterns for enterprise systems. • Modernize and translate legacy integration logic (e.g., webMethods, BizTalk) into AWS-native services. • Support hybrid integration scenarios bridging on-premises and cloud environments. • DevOps & CI/CD • Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines with AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild and CodeDeploy. • Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. • Monitor and optimize application performance with AWS CloudWatch. • Documentation & Post-Migration Support • Develop technical documentation for migration design, implementation and support. • Provide troubleshooting and operational support for migrated APIs. • Required Skills & Experience • 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack, integration, or cloud-native development. • Proven expertise with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, RDS, • CloudFormation. • Strong knowledge of Mulesoft Anypoint Platform, DataWeave, and MUnit. • Proficiency in Java, Node.js, React/Angular, and PostgreSQL. • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and event-driven architectures (Kafka, Airflow). • Familiarity with AWS migration frameworks and best practices.
