Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Sr Machine Learning Engineer Location: Westlake Village CA Duration: 5 months contract (potential to go PERM eventually) 100% Onsite Pay rate $72 Per hr on W2 Max GC and USC, Local to Los Angeles, CA W2 role. Responsibilities: As an Sr Developer, you will: • Work on cutting-edge projects in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Generative AI (Gen AI). • Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI-powered solutions for business-critical applications. • Collaborate with a talented team of engineers and data scientists to push the boundaries of AI technology. • Contribute to the architecture and scaling of AI systems and applications, ensuring robust performance and reliability. • Drive the implementation of Gen AI and Agentic AI technologies to create intelligent workflows. • Lead initiatives involving LLM training and the development of powerful AI models. • Work with modern search technologies like BM25, BM42, and NER (Named Entity Recognition) to enhance AI capabilities. • Mentor junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. • Ensure that solutions align with business objectives while focusing on scalability and maintainability. • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI and Machine Learning technologies, integrating them into solutions where applicable. Qualifications: What you will bring: • BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree (MS in Machine Learning preferred). • 3+ years of experience in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing. • 3+ years of experience with Python and its libraries for ML, NLP, AI, and Search technologies (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, SpaCy, BM25, etc.). • 2+ years of experience with AWS services and cloud technologies for developing scalable AI solutions. • 2+ years of experience with SQL for data manipulation and querying. • 1+ year of experience with NER (Named Entity Recognition) and search technologies like BM25, BM42, etc. If you're interested in above role please send me your updated resume to chakravarthi.savalam@ispace.com
