Overview
Praescient Analytics is seeking a Senior Open-Source Analyst to conduct advanced analysis using intelligence and information derived from multiple sources to support a DHS Contract. Assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments at both the regional and functional level. This role provides all-source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence requirements. The analyst will demonstrate mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies, ensure adherence to analytic tradecraft standards, and support the development of new approaches to Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) exploitation. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct OSINT analysis, reporting, and production in support of DHS and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate and collaborate with other intelligence disciplines to produce accurate and reliable intelligence products.
• Research, assess, and provide recommendations on emerging OSINT methodologies, technologies, and tools.
• Brief senior personnel and decision-makers on analytic findings and assessments.
• Provide expert consultation on leveraging OSINT tools, services, and specialized data for intelligence production.
• Support the development and refinement of OSINT targeting, exploitation techniques, and policy/tradecraft.
• Utilize advanced OSINT and social media collection/analysis techniques to address requests concerning force protection, counterintelligence, indications and warnings, and threat identification.
• Conduct research and analysis on global, regional, and functional issues to produce case-based and national security-focused assessments.
• Provide comprehensive analytic support to intelligence operations, investigations, and all-source integration requirements.
Required Qualifications
• At least seven (7) years of demonstrated experience utilizing OSINT tools and methods, including work on problem sets such as cryptocurrency/virtual assets.
• Experience in OSINT research, collection management, analysis, or exploitation of publicly available information (PAI) and social media platforms.
• Proven expertise in accessing, researching, and exploiting global and regional social media and digital platforms.
• Hands-on experience with open-source research, all-source intelligence analysis, or targeting.
• Proficiency in advanced internet-based research, including Boolean logic, specialized research techniques, and use of commercial/industry databases.
• TS/SCI level clearance or above (Required).
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a field related to intelligence, international relations, security studies, criminal justice, or a similar discipline (advanced degree preferred).
• Significant experience (senior-level) conducting OSINT research and analysis within national security, defense, or intelligence communities.
