Job Title: Senior RAI Governance Analyst Location: Indianapolis, IN (Remote) Duration: 12-month contract (potential for extension or conversion) Pay Rate: $55-63hr (W-2/ 40hrs a week) Overview Our client is seeking a Senior RAI Governance Analyst to lead and support enterprise-wide AI governance, risk, and compliance initiatives. This role places a strong emphasis on AI governance and responsible AI (RAI), ensuring that AI systems are designed, deployed, and monitored in alignment with internal policies, regulatory expectations, and ethical standards. This individual will also play a critical role in managing governance workflows, including oversight of a high-volume ServiceNow ticket queue, while driving AI risk assessments and governance maturity across the organization. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in GRC frameworks, governance processes, and regulatory environments, along with hands-on exposure to AI risk, model governance, or emerging technology oversight. Key Responsibilities AI Governance & Risk (Primary Focus) • Lead AI governance reviews and risk assessments for AI/ML use cases across the enterprise. • Evaluate AI solutions against internal Responsible AI (RAI) standards, policies, and regulatory expectations. • Identify, assess, and document risks related to AI development, deployment, and lifecycle management (e.g., bias, explainability, data integrity). • Partner with cross-functional teams (Compliance, InfoSec, Legal, Data Science, Internal Audit) to ensure AI systems align with enterprise risk frameworks. • Support the development and enhancement of AI governance frameworks, policies, and controls. • Provide recommendations to mitigate AI-related risks and improve governance maturity. Governance, Risk & Compliance (Secondary Focus) • Manage and resolve a high volume of governance-related ServiceNow tickets (100+), ensuring timely and accurate responses. • Review, triage, and respond to incoming requests in alignment with internal policies and control frameworks. • Track governance issues, document findings, and ensure proper remediation and closure. • Support control validation, approvals, and documentation across business and technical teams. • Assist in maintaining and improving governance processes and workflows. Audit, Documentation & Reporting • Prepare clear and concise documentation including governance reports, audit workpapers, and risk assessments. • Support internal and external audits related to AI governance, risk, and compliance. • Analyze data and metrics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement. • Report on AI governance activities, risk findings, and remediation efforts to leadership. Leadership & Collaboration • Serve as a subject matter resource on AI governance and GRC best practices. • Partner with stakeholders across business and technology teams to drive governance adoption. • Mentor and guide junior team members on governance processes and AI risk concepts. • Support strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts within the GRC and AI governance functions. • Effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in GRC, risk management, compliance, audit, or governance-related roles. • Demonstrated experience in AI governance, model risk management, or emerging technology risk. • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or similar governance/ticketing platforms. • Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, governance controls, and compliance standards. • Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, or governance reviews. • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and manage both strategic and operational responsibilities. Nice to Have • Knowledge of frameworks such as NIST, ISO, COBIT, SOC, or AI-specific governance frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF). • Experience with Responsible AI (RAI) programs or model governance frameworks. • Background in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or pharmaceuticals.
