Senior Rust Engineer

About the Role: HYBRID IN PLANO,TX Optomi in partnership with a cutting edge leader in it's industry is seeking a talented and experienced RUST Engineer to join the team and build cutting-edge voice assistant applications. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining both the back-end services and some user-facing front ends, leveraging a modern and powerful technology stack. You will work on innovative projects that directly impact the future of our company's product line. Key Responsibilities: • Design, build, and maintain robust back-end servers and APIs using Rust. • Containerize applications using Docker and Docker-Compose for seamless cloud deployment and scalability. • Work with serverless and managed database solutions, including DynamoDB, for efficient data collection and management. • Create and maintain automation scripts (e.g., Bash) for various tasks, including database management and data manipulation using command-line tools like jq. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to demonstrate prototypes and deliver a polished product to key stakeholders. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Demonstrated experience in back-end development with Rust. • Proven experience with Docker and Docker-Compose for application containerization. • Familiarity with database technologies, specifically DynamoDB. • Experience with scripting languages like Bash and command-line tools such as jq. • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to development. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
