Job Title: Senior Sales Analyst (Contract through March 2025)
Department: Commercial Operations
Role Overview:
The Senior Sales Analyst will provide critical analytical support to the Sales Department by delivering actionable insights, managing compensation analytics, and supporting cross-functional initiatives. This role includes reporting, data visualization, KPI tracking, workflow automation, and preparing customer-facing materials. The position is initially a contract through March 2025, with potential for permanent conversion depending on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Compensation Analytics
β’ Manage compensation analytics, including monthly draws, quarterly comp calculations, statement creation and execution, quota reporting, and sales awards tracking.
β’ Ensure compliance with legal documentation for compensation plans.
β’ Analyze and report on sales performance using financial and business data.
β’ Assist in performance management planning and execution tracking for sales employees.
Reporting & Data Visualization
β’ Pull hospital and market-level data using Carevoyance for Value Story presentations and capital/clinical team materials (e.g., Breast Cancer Journey Presentation, Lymphedema Diagnosis Data).
β’ Develop and maintain Salesforce dashboards and reports for sales funnel tracking, pipeline metrics, and internal/external QBRs.
β’ Respond to ad hoc data and slide requests; create custom territory/account maps, trend charts, and metric summaries.
Process Improvement & Workflow Automation
β’ Lead workflow automation initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.
β’ Review business processes and recommend continuous improvements.
β’ Develop reorder strategies for inventory management.
β’ Support KPI development, implementation, and tracking to drive continuous improvement.
Training & Enablement
β’ Deliver Salesforce and Carevoyance training to capital and clinical teams during onboarding or for updates.
β’ Support sales department meetings, communications, and key activities.
β’ Prepare standard templates and processes for Quarterly Business Review (QBR) presentations to customers.
β’ Support central customer requests such as business continuity planning and capability presentations.
Collaboration & Communication
β’ Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external customers.
β’ Present actionable insights and recommendations to management and team members.
Required Skills & Experience:
β’ Minimum 5 years in a sales or commercial operations environment (healthcare experience preferred).
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Accounting, or Finance.
β’ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with Smartsheet, Salesforce, SharePoint, and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
β’ Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills; able to turn complex data into actionable insights.
β’ Strong oral and written communication skills; able to present data clearly.
β’ High organizational skills, detail orientation, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
β’ Strong work ethic and initiative; able to work independently and as part of a team.
β’ Excellent time management and ability to meet commitments through collaboration.
Technical Skills:
β’ Excel: INDEX MATCH, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formatting, charting, data cleaning.
β’ PowerPoint: Strong formatting skills, Slide Master usage, converting data into visual stories.
β’ Data visualization and reporting using Excel or PowerPoint.
β’ Program management tools (Gantt charts, ERP, database management).
Preferred Experience:
β’ Healthcare claims analysis using Carevoyance, Definitive Healthcare, or similar databases.
β’ Familiarity with healthcare terminology: CMS, CPT, DRG, ICD codes.
β’ Experience creating customer-facing presentations and value stories for capital and clinical teams.
